My Musings At The Blue Lagoon: ( Seaton Carew, Hartlepool)

Quietude

My Musings At The Blue Lagoon: ( Seaton Carew, Hartlepool)

As I stand on the dunes of the Blue Lagoon,
I witness a soft, thick blanket of sea fog
Covering the beach. Although it is late June,
Cold winds blow. All's quiet; only a lone dog
Wanders aimlessly across the sands, as
These layers of mist silently dissolve
Into the horizon. O all things must pass
In this life of impermanence! I'll resolve
To find a peaceful way through this Vale of Tears,
And exorcise these current concerns and fears.

I don't like the sea fret when visiting Seaton Canoe (John Darwin)😆. I bet the weather is a lot cooler in Aaartlepool today. I'm from the north east myself.

Good poem Dominic. I really enjoyed the read.

Best wishes  - Syd
