The day is over
My aching body retreats 
Lifeless I lay across my bed 
Unable to slide under the sheets

As I reflect of on my days journey 
And how you brought me through 

A song of praise begins to stir in my heart 
My mind could not contained 
Like a sonic boom a burst of energy 
Energized my body 
As I call upon your name 

O blessed savior my glorious lord 
How I love you so
With lips of clay and a heart content

You are most gracious 
My Heavenly Father 
The expression of unfailing love

You've guided me 
Across the dangerous highways 
With your lights illumination from above.
