Dear mom and dad,

I'm sorry

But this cruel world isn't worth all the pain and worry

I never wanted to make too much of a fuss

But you guys were never smart enough to check for cuts

My wrist says it all

I just want you to know this isn't your fault

Tell my boyfriend I love him

Tell him, his sister, all of them

I never meant to hurt you guys 

I just got tired of all the crys

I should've asked for help

But I decided to hurt myself

I wanted to tell you how I feel

But stupid me resorted to the pill

And to my mom I just want to say

Thanks for being my best friend since the very first day

And dad I know I'm not fully yours

But you've treated me like your own even through the worst

Babe, I want to thank you the most out of all

Because you were there to pick me up after every fall

I knew this would be hard on you guys

But it was either say goodbye 

Or tell a million lies

I want you to move on and get on with your lives

Well I guess this is goodbye, I love you guys with all my heart

But this is the time we are meant to part
