My ‘Pie in the sky’ I espy 💕

I dream of Sea horses that pass me by, clinging onto marvellous Mermaid tails up high in the sky

Not a cloud do I espy but
sea anemones and white yacht sails..

Colourful crimson coral reefs,
fishies and Humpback whales

“Ahoy there me hearties”
I hear a captain of his ship yell but shouldn’t he be in the ocean?

As he passes me by he shouts “Farewell” through his magical, mystique motion 

This peculiar fantasy as I lay on my bed: a ‘Pie in the sky,’ ‘Castle in the air”..

It’s just a mangled mixup all in my head

Oh how I enjoy a whimsical 
vision in the dark of the night..

My miraged mind in a spectacular array of waggish delight

A dream to beat all dreams,

I hope that I reminisce this one in the morning, Ahh but it is only 2.am..

I close my eyes drifting back amidst my dreaminess sleepily yawning...
