My prayer

Jesus help me
as you often have before
help me find peace
that my mind can feel no more.
Shepard guide me
for I can't find the way
word to comfort me
until my strength is here to stay.
Mentor teach me
for I have a listening ear
spirit shield me
when I feel the cloak of fear.
Bless and protect me
so I can do the best I can
your love upon me
as I help my fellow man.
