Poem -

My Precious Daisy

It’s so unusual, my love. It registers beneath the soul, and

Races through the heart. My precious daisy, exhaust the magic—

Explore the psalms. For life—a mere tutor, and Love—a

Revelation. Build a fortress, my love: construct a palace.

Such is majesty, despite the scars; and such is fortune, a

Worthy venture. Indeed my love—the fairest swan—muse

The nouns. [Selah] In truth, fuse the mind, hear it speak, keep

The diamond. My precious daisy, release the breath: inhale

The fey. “Be still,” and nurture wind—a tender mist; and

Feed the eyes, a kingdom hidden. Woo the zephyrs, my attic

Gem—embrace the radiance. For chi—a vivid language;

And Spirit, a vibrant force. My precious daisy, mold the

Petals, and bless the tears. For life—a mere tutor, and Love—

A revelation.
