Poem -

My Prison

Oh how I would love, what I would give
To tear down the walls that I have built
To keep my heart safe, to protect the parts
That were broken.

Oh what I would give, to tear down these walls
That surround my heart, and keep me apart
From the love that is there, beyond the fear
That surrounds it all, within these walls
Of my prison.
