My protector, my watcher, my secret keeper, my comforter.
You keep me safe and sane.
I can feel the connection of trust when we talk.
If I ever have a problem I know I can run to you, and you will try your hardest to fix it.
You know all my deepest secrets and feelings, and all the horrible things I’ve done.
Yet you still see me as someone who’s amazing.
You’ve been there since the start, when I thought I found my forever after.
And then when that dream shattered into pieces.
You held me when I cried and told me it would be okay plenty of times.
When I discovered who I really am, and realized I’m nowhere close to normal,
You accepted me for me and loved me anyways.
The beauty I have you see even if my hair is a mess or if I’m all done up.
To you my eyes are beautiful because they show the love I have for people.
To others I’m extremely ordinary but to you I’m something amazing.
You make me feel like I can take on the world when you tell me how you see me.
Around you I can be my true self and not be shy.
With you my true self shines.
You impact me so deeply even though I barely let it show.
You can see right through my fake smiles and laughs and make them real.
When I lie you can always tell and make me tell you how I really feel.
The spectrum of emotions you have made me feel are crazy.
There has been love, jealousy, heartache, trust, happiness, and so much more.
There are so many memories between you and me.
Some are good and some are bad, but all of them taught me a lesson.
I know that if I ever need someone to hold me or make me laugh that I can run to you.
