My Raggle,Taggle Gypsy Oh

My Raggle,Taggle Gypsy Oh

Oh my tantalising tiny dancer
spinning in the shadows every night
My raggle, taggle gypsy Oh
“How do you tread so light?”

Does your tiresome feet not hurt you? ...bound up in those tight, tied pumps
How in heaven’s name do you do ......those pirouette jumps?

As your silhoutte does spiral I am spellbound in a trance
Wow, my Emerald-Isle ballerina girl, how beautifully you do dance

I swear you possess the power to hypnotize a thousand eyes
betwixt your colourful illusions
just like a frenzy of butterflies
