My shattered dream

⏺️ Again I'm woken by your crow of anger. 

⏺️You preach it would be better than today.

⏺️ It seems you show you wear this crown of hope, though hope can't strike as now won't do. 

⏺️ Why you and people call and squawk frustration without​ effort to amend

⏺️The place we're in? You search for issues not solutions, there's

⏺️ Beligerance erupting out from engines of your mind.

⏺️If you just leave, the castle we have built together will collapse,

⏺️ Without your help i cant amend the cracks so fixable,

⏺️But you just fly far far away, I loose hope more and more each day,

⏺️ Can you not see me standing here? Your eyes too squint to notice what i do?

⏺️ Then go and fly and flee your nest, be free to spread your wings from me,

⏺️ The freedom you have always needed a world without my love, 

⏺️ But don't come flapping back to me when you can't fly like you had dreamed, If only you had seen before, 

⏺️you would'nt have fallen to the floor if it stayed just you and me, my shattered dream.
