Poem -

The Back of the Sunrise

Every thought a battle, a win a loss, a win a loss, visions of frustration.
All they dream is to break out from this icy ocean, trapped, frozen.

Until the morning sun sprayed from the Horizon, a world awoken.
The night has spoken but the morning rushes with a new tale.
Reality strikes the heads of mortal man, harshly woke from their unknown bliss.
A new threat of reality, blinding in its wake, incomprehensible.
The wave of morning continues to rise.
They wish they could effortlessly sink back into they're dreaming.
Each minute the veiw becomes more clear.
Men choke on the gritty tase of morning,
Remember dreams of past.
Visions so heavenly, simple, light on the mind,
But now they are crushed buy the swash of dawn.
A battle not over, not begun.
The world above the icy waves, a maze, no win no loss, not trapped but lost.
A dream granted, the back of the sunrise.
