MY SHINING LIGHT

Every night just as it starts turning dark 
I comfort myself with something that hits the mark 
The one true thing that's always there 
It's so dependable I'm not willing to share 

The thing of which I speak is my shining light
I'm really fortunate to have a beautiful sight 
Is this light a town, creature or place ? 
Maybe a person with an attractive face 

Whatever the light is I'm not willing to say 
My one shining light brightens the darkest day
