My shooting star ⭐️

Up amidst the highest heavens within the clearest of magical, mid winter nights

And though I cannot sense your presence in amongst those celestial sights

Something solaced my spiritual soul from a sudden shooting stars flight..

Mother, Father was that fantastic falling meteor you?

Did you just zoom across that midnight sky from out of the blue?

Well I made a wish as it took me by surprise, it seemed the right thing to do

Yet I dare not tell you what I wished for unless my prayer will not come true..

Tonight I shall sit outside staring at the skies

And who knows I might espy another shooting star as it captivate my eyes

As I sing to both of you my sweetest of lullabies
