My Special Valentine

Before we finally found each other, I’d had many Valentines;
Each one, I thought would last forever, that they always would be mine!
But excuse my French, “shit happened”, and we weren’t together any more;
Yet now, that we are united, my faith has been restored!

For from the moment that I met you, on that late October night;
I knew I’d found “My Special Valentine”, I had uncovered Mrs. Right!
And through all our years together, we always celebrate this day;
Wearing red, to represent our joined hearts, that will ever stay that way!

So, on this most sacred day for couples, I send you all my love;
I pay homage to the stars that guided us, in the Heavens up above!
Twenty-seven years now, and counting, so many more for us to share;
Because our Souls are e’er inseparable, an eternal bonded pair!
