My Spiritual Mentor

I blinked my eyes in disbelief in the shadows of the night

There stood, elevated before me  
was the most majestic sight

A vision of an angel with silk and ghostly threads

Cascading from her halo in slithers of shiney shreds
                               ~

I dare not move a muscle nor did I utter a word

As this golden goddess of gloriousness smiled down on me, and this is what I heard:

“I am your Guardian Angel, I have been sent from Heaven above

If you should wish, I shall pass on your messages to your dearest ones with love

Tho you do not realise, I am always by your side

I fly where’ere you dare travel with my feathered wings open wide”
                           ~
In disbeIief I was speechless
I knew that  ‘I had seen the light’

This wasn’t my imagination, nor was it a ‘Fancy of flight’ 

She was my beautiful celestial being,  my own true twinkling star

All the way from her Angelic realm
In the highest Heavens afar
                          ~

“I thank you my spiritual mentor
I know that I am truly blessed

I would be ever so grateful if I could ask you one request

Please my little heavenly dove
Speed ye on your way

Seek out all my folks I love
Keep them safe from dangers way

Can you tell them I will meet them again when my days on Earth are done”❤️
