My Tears to Heaven I Send
My Tears to Heaven I send
Far beneath the sands of this war torn world
Lies an oyster shell with a shining pearl
The pearl represents wisdom and peace for all
No more warring soldiers will have to fall
It’s time to give Mother Nature back the earth
So she can have a long coming spiritual rebirth
Time for all the colors of the world unite
Give one and all our equal human rights
Form a comradery between woman and man
Till the ends of the earth we must do all we can
Spread the message of love around the globe
May every lonely heart have a hand to hold
Abolish the need to arm with bombs and guns
Try to live as one beneath the golden sun
Give up the greed that pumps the oil
Remove our boots from foreign soil
Give every person in the world a voice
Let us all have freedom to make a choice
Politician’s busily weave their web of lies
In a raging storm Mother Nature cries
All the while the earth’s raging fires burn
Seems we still have many lessons to learn
Let us all sleep soundly come nightfall
May the universe hear our heavenly call
And the world just keeps on turning
Can we feed the hunger and yearning?
Will this war torn world’s heart ever mend?
All of my tears to the heavens I send

Again, a poem featuring a positive message presented in an aa, mono-rhymed scheme in rhyming couplets.
Having seen combat as a US Marine during Operation Urgent Fury and the invasion of the island of Grenada, I'll second these sentiments.
Well-penned, Gary,
