MY TEDDY BEAR

Had it since childhood and it went everywhere 
Brown quite naturally was my cute teddy bear
Only had one eye and coming apart at the seams
I cuddled him tightly my sleep full of dreams 

Woke next morning and teddy bear did to 
Told him my plans what things I would do 
Would probably climb a tree today after school
Then go to the sweet shop would be rather cool

Teddy bear would patiently wait in my bed 
'Goodnight and sleep well" is what I said 
No reply from the bear must be asleep already
I kissed him then for I love my lovely little teddy
