My Torrent Love

My torrent love, we die immortal: ours, the light of mystery.
We have fallen, unto ascension: we have risen, unto life.
But spirit scars, plague the soul. Thus we perish, a mortal
Plight. But faith, as rich as Scripture; and death, the vehicle
Of life. Thus we flourish, the maze of dreams; and thus we
Stumble, the maze of strife. But tender love, the god’s have
Spoken; thus we dance the sacred chant. And tears of gold,
Our fluid stream, fraught with life, and godly screams.
My torrent love, we die immortal: ours, the light of mystery.
Thus in death, we walk the skies; and thus in life, we tread
The deep. But broken dreams—swell the heart; and brazen
Prayers—flood the stars. Thus the fence, the steps of God;
And thus the scars, the wounds of Christ. Hence the soul,
An opus web; and hence the light, awakens death.
