My Twin

My Twin

My mom had one twinkle in her eye, but was surprised with two
We were born eight minutes apart, but for my mom it was a push
Although we didnt look alike people wondered who was who

We grew up together sharing everything
Same clothes, same food, same room, same air
Our friends were the same, as every grade bell rings

As high school near to its end, it is the first time we part
We were each others shadows, but no longer
Joy and sorrow, for a new beginning, but will forever be in each other's heart
