Poem -

My Wee Granny

As you struggle for breath

In your darkness

Fighting for your loved ones

Inside a broken body

Ohh granny in your head are you twenty

Running threw fields of golden daffodils under an irish sky

I so wonder as I watch you die

This we women that's been so kind

Showed me love and life

As we sipped tea watching channel five

And what was on tv that day I can't recall

I was just glad to share the day with you Grany

 Precious memories I hold forever

And now as I watch you slowly pass away

To a chorus of loved ones wishing you Godspeed

Im at peace because your with me
