Poem -

My Wife...

She would be resilient...
For time ain't convenient
It comes without a warning
And leaves without a notice

For she would be outgoing
I am too shy for showing
Her love would be in my hand
But her will and way her own

What is love and life fulfilled
But sadness and pain concealed
A hope that rides above allĀ Ā Ā
With assured peace from within

Accepting joy and failures
Simple, trivial pleasures
Her smile would be heavenly
But her tears too thunderous

Sunset, and sun rises, too
Would welcome my love anew
Blustering seas, shinning sun
Easy things make her happy

Her greatest joy wife, Mother
This duty like no other
It's her long hair and long legs
Her authority this task

As her champion I know
It's for her joys, my life's so
I lay down that she stands strong
And rise tall that she sleeps well
