My Will
Simplicity
My Will
Will the sun shine my soul
Will the heat burn my demons
Will the rain give me feeling
Will music hold my dreams in
Will technology take my freedom
Will freedom bring me choices
Will the wind dry my tears
Will media create my fears
Will news bring me misery
Will today learn from history
Will the future learn from today
Will my smile help me laugh
Will the dark carve a path
Will the light ignite my heart
Will my heart hold it's rhythm
Will my limits reach a lesson
Will my ears help me feel
Will my sight help me listen
Will my touch hold me
Will my mind help me see
Will my eyes help me dream
Will my dreams share my path
Will my path make a map
Will my map make a mark
Will my mind control my time
Will my time feel patient
Will my patients remember me
Will my memories be remembered
Will my money understand value's that don't cost others
Will my values make a difference
Will these words give me reason
Will my reasoning be realised
Does silence have a sound?

all interesting questions. what it brings to mind for me is " be in the world' but not of the world" good write!....................................Jim
Very clever Dan, as I read this it chanted like a mantra and that last line
It’s almost like a meditation this. A wonderful piece
Gwen :)
It's like some kind of secret Mantra!!.....It reads with quietly pensive fluidity......ALL STARS!!....well done Dr. BRAIN!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!....T xo : )
Wow! Such a lot of questions! I have found that silence is heavy more than noisy and it cuts like the sharpest knife through butter. Great write ⚘x
My thanks for your minds time and welcome words. So very true.., silence can be uncomfortably noisy for me.
Thankfully this has meant admiring your work too.
It’s quite something to feel and recognise relative unique minds. Thank you x
Wow, what a write, "Does silence have a sound" I love the contrasting phrases, it brings a sense of questioning oneself and our authority, by asking rhetorical questions, makes for very impactful poetry! Enjoyed Dan!
