Native Americans: Blood on the Plains

Native Americans: Blood on the Plains

A burning sky painted with blood

The drums of war and battle ring out on the Plains

Indian warriors in war shirts and vests

Armed with bows and arrows

Adorned with war paint and eagle feathers

Faces covered with war paint

War paint colors of red and black

War paint colors that mark blood and death

Indian warriors charge in battle

Holding Tomahawk axes 🪓 🪓🪓🪓🪓

Scalping and killing their enemies

Blood on the battlefield

Acts of bravery in battle: counting coup

Indian warriors take a scalp

A code of honor for indian warriors

Blood on the Plains marked by death
