Apollo Golden Orb

Apollo Golden Orb

Apollo's golden orb rising in the east

A molten sun of golden candlelight

Icarus, with wings of wax and dreams

He soared on whispers of ambition

A daring dance on the edge of the sun

His heart ablaze with pride and desire

But the heat and flames licked closer

And at that moment of surrender

He tasted the bittersweet nectar of defeat

Of daring to rise, only to fall

Apollo's golden light, a siren’s call

Golden candles, burning bright

Echo the tales of fire and light

A reminder that within our pride and glow

The dreams we chase in gold, may melt our feathers
