Nature Forevermore

Hear the crashing of waves as they slam into the shore
The sound of the swells in the distant echo
The cry of the birds as they dodge growing waves
The clouds gather in a riot
Turning from white to a seeping gray
Rain drops fall from a never ending source
Lightening crashes into the ocean
A gall of wind carries the threatening sound of thunder close
The sky turns from a welcoming sight to a night of fright
Upon the land wind forces the tree bow
Fields lay flat, critters stay hidden
Nature turning on itself, ridding her of rot
Once the wind blows all away
The sun will shine, the world will thrive
Soft autumn breezes, moist grass covered in dew
Life always continues, it never stops
Round and round she will throw us
But we will always land on our feet and continue on
Life comes and goes, there’s no time to ponder
What could have been, what should have been
Never was
