Nature's Eyes do not Forget
A change in climate
Spring awakes from winter slumber,
Dawn creates collage of colour,
Nature's pallete paints a picture,
The birth of life, natural wonder,
Winters bite withdraws from sight,
Replaced by warmth's awoken slumber,
Familiar scent of cut grass set,
a mind in motion to repent,
Nature's eyes do not forget,
The blight of man & all it's might,
Forest felled, money grows
The Ocean weeps in tidal sorrow,
Children hunger, tycoon's greed,
No intention to concede,
One voice sings, crowd cries silent,
Do not question how it is,
The act of one will make no sense,
For it takes many to progress,
Nature's pallete, collage of colour,
Resigned to books,
We gaze in wonder.
