Nature's Intent

Nature's Intent

There is a little madness in every head,
and itā€™s both darkness and light,
same as the spider and the bird that eats it
or the greatest beast and the smallest mite.
They're all beautiful
because they fulfil natures desire
each having a role to play,
there is torment in nature,
asĀ light cannot exist without dark
and as night gives way to the day.
Everything is as it should be
there is no good or bad,
nature isnā€™t selfish but self-fulfilling.
We carry the world on our shoulders
the burden crashing the weary bones,
brittle, pale and hollow,
weakened by the heaviness of pressure
and way too much sorrow.
Then we lift the head higher
andĀ we adjust the burden low,
the darkness is always there
but the light can shine through.
Who am I to go against natureā€™s intent!

There is true harmony in this write B... all your writes speak of an inner peace... a gratefulness almost for the simple joy of living. All your work shines with the calm and beauty of your soul. I envy you... in a good way. Your work always reminds me to look afresh... it reminds me that life is still .... truly stunning... regardless. Thankyou X

I am touched by your words, Marion. Very much touched. Yes, I amā€¦very much.Ā
Thatā€™s the way you see me?
It is said that what we see on others reflect back on us. You can only see good if you have good in yourself. If you can see harmony and inner peace, is because you have that in you.Ā

You are indeed a beautiful person, dear Marion.Ā
And I hope that among all your suffering you can always find a moment of peace. When that happensā€¦is where your heaven is. Hey, I am getting too gooey now. Tell me to back off if you likešŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Whatā€™s make the world go around, Sparrowsong?Ā
Gravity!
Orā€¦love, money, motivation (depends of oneā€™s view on life).Ā
I think itā€™s a SMILE šŸ˜Š!
We just have to keep questioning, and youā€™re very good at that, my friend. Ā BĀ

Being Me

It's all about balance, at the end of the day. The universe likes balance. We cannot go against the nature of things ... it upsets the universe. People try and go against nature. People think they are clever like that. They think it's okay. That the universe hasn't noticed. But it has. It's just that revenge and retribution (same thing?) work best when a good amount of time has been taken. And the universe is never in a hurry.

I love this Poem of yours,Bernadete. Its really made me think. Great writing xx

It's best to accept it for what it is & its rightful place in our world after all, it is indeed a part of it .. the same principle applies to the greatest living thing (in size) right down to an innocent virus .. I am a great believer in homeostasis on both a micro and macro scale .. its what makes the world go round .. Great ink my friend .. NevilleĀ

ā€œnature isnā€™t selfish but self-fulfilling.ā€
So true,Ā
sentience is what gummed up the works as far as mother nature is concerned.
great write

Splendidly displayed Bernadete. You've captured the essential need that is the duality of light and darkness, and how we only grow when acceptance is obtained. That can be extremely difficult, but once achieved we can soar on the other side of darkness.Ā

I have to admit that I so looking forward receiving your thoughts.
I have a soft spot for this poem and I am happy you read it.Ā
You have enlightened me here and I thank you my friend.Ā Ā
I don't know much about darkness but I am slowly learning from others.
I see how much is there and I do feel for them.Ā
