Sew Sew Sew, he said
You must stitch it up and grow
He said, though
I told him that my heart was
dead
That the needle snaps and
Breaks the thread

But still
This man of life who knew
All the remedies of saddened
blue
Said, stitch it up and
Grow Grow Grow, and
A stronger beat you'll never
know, so

Stitch stitch stitch do I
By the light of stark
In a deadened sky
Yet still, all the stitches
Of my broken heart
Break apart each dawn, when
The light kills dark
