A Need to Pause

A subtle silence spoke love. The soul splayed asunder. We
Perish life. And heart, a kettle drum. My dream, an attic
Voice. And ardent flare, a dying whale. The rhythm, a
Neural pulse: the love, a mystic cloth. And I swaddle
Invisibility. The lamp, an arcane wave: the volt, a
Worried soul. And paradise, a cello soft. My troubled sea,
A rapture wild; and I dare fathom love. [Selah]
Such splendor, a fated flame. But life, a ghostly barricade.
Awake the future: enlighten faith. For I pause, a fallin’ tear.
And wings, a haunted flight. Thus the pang, a nimbus star;
And thus the wound, a mystic sword. My troubled sea, I
Dare fathom love; for fallen sky, a sudden surge; and
Rapid hertz, a passion thought; but quilted dreams, a need
To pause; and symbol heart, a noble cause.    Â
