I let your alluring eyes capture my plain eyes 
I let your muscular form rap itself around my unhealthy shaped body 
I let you pull my heart away from me to you 
I let myself go to you 
I let you become my happiness 
Then you left 
You left me all alone 
Neglected
For a second I thought 
that all the things you told me was true 
I thought your eyes were screaming they loved me 
or 
at least that's what I thought 
But you left me out of the blue 
you didn't even look back 
my heart was broken 
I was left broken & bruised blue 
I never thought, I would let you become my happiness 
but I did

All the things I told myself about how letting someone become your happiness 

would fuck me up
actually did fuck me up 
I let you 
I let myself fall for something that wasn't true 
I may be broken & bruised blue 
But one day I will get better 
& I wont let it happen again
