In German, if you want to say no, the word to speak is “nein”;
And if Kobe’s pilot would have uttered it, we all would now not pine!
For he would have returned them to the airport, said “It’s too dangerous to fly”;

But he made the very wrong choice, trying to circumvent danger;
Using a very risky flight plan, where tragedy could occur!
I question his decision, why did he jeopardize their lives?
Instead of taking them to safety, nine Souls met with their demise!

All of them are gone now, victims of a horrid copter crash;
They all would still be with us, if he had not been so rash!
I am sorry to be so hard on him, for he lost his own life too;
But I feel he made a tragic error, that forever will we rue!
