Neither Devil Nor Saint

In shadows and light, I wander alone,
A path carved by choices, my heart is stone.
Not angel, not demon, just flesh and a soul,
Living by my truth, not playing a role.
Ā
They call me a sinner, or maybe a saint,
A life unpainted, yet smeared with their taint.
But I walk my own road, head held high,
With scars that tell stories, and dreams that donāt die.
Ā
Iām not heavenās glory, nor hellās darkest shame,
Just a man with a spirit no one can tame.
For every mistake, Iāve bled and Iāve paid,
In a world of gray, Iāve fought and Iāve stayed.
Ā
So judge me if you will, cast stones if you must,
I stand on my ground, my faith and my trust.
Neither devil nor saint, just a heart that beats true,
With love for the fight, and a fire that grew.
