Nelson

Nelson

Who'd have thought that just one man
With peace and courage could make a plan
That changed the world beyond all hope
And with great courage found ways to cope

For many the trials of such a soul
Who stays so focused on the goal
Unwavering in the gifts he'll bring
And millions to his words will cling

Such great example to us all
To break right through a stupid wall
That holds mankind apart - for what?
Some greed and power before they're shot

So shining with his head held high
Despite the time had come to die
Throughout all time this legacy thrives
Thank you Nelson, you've changed our lives
