Never a poet

Ā Ā Never a poet,Ā
I never want to date a poet,
He'll give more attention,
To his pen, than me,
And leave me in the cold,
Of night,
And early dawns,
While he romances to his pen.
Ā
I never want to marry a poet,
Their vows are sweet,
But like wind,
They'll come and blow in a blink,
And when gone,
I'll be left in an inferno,
Of a broken heart,
No! Am afraid.
Ā
I never want to kiss a poet,
It will be adultery,
For we are both married to our pens,
And we've both given birth to our words,
Our lips will be a factory of words,
No, i dread!
Ā
I never want to lay down with a poet,
It'll be horrible,
For we've lived to enjoy our nakedness,
Our bed will be a river of words,
And we'll be bored,
And I'll tear down,
With bare emotions,
No am not ready for it!
