Never Not Believe

We went hand to hand
Trudging through ankle deep debt,
Only way us naive can understand
The worse we let it get.

Now shoulder to shoulder
Wrapped arms tangled around each other,
We navigate though it's up to waist
Thanking creditors, and asking sirs, may we have another.

Face to face forcefully chained together
No desire to smother,
At eye level we see less
Dragged down by carried stress,
Why bother
Return of good faith is never.

Speaking heart to heart
Miraculous such as this
By another passing eve,
A prayer, a darkened light, and a kiss goodnight,
No longer in disbelief.
