Never was

Never was

Never thought
of you
When I
Dug inside
Of me

Always
Manipulating
A short
Cut
to the
Finish
Line

The auburn
maple
Leaf
Scurried
Across
A bridge

Our
Bridge

that leads
to
a place
Where
No
Colors
No
Taste
No
Feel
And
No
thought
Exist

Sanctuary
Called
No where

Both
Fear/
Peace
are
Absence

It is
Where
Being
Isn't
and
History
Never
Was

I love this Greg. A relationship headed to nowhere. Into the nothingness. Wonderfully abstract, clever, and visually creative write :)
