NEVILLE AND THE DEVIL

NEVILLE AND THE DEVIL

Let me tell you of my friend Neville
He got up and struck a bargain with the devil
Neville agreed to express thanks throughout the day
The devil agreed he would then go awayΒ

At the shop it was thank you miss
Neville was getting quite used to saying this
Thank you sir at the resteraunt during lunchΒ
The devil was getting twitchy was just my hunch

Neville kept saying thank you throughout the afternoonΒ
The devil he thought would be disappearing very soonΒ
The final thanks was given to Neville's wife
The devil would now disappear from Neville's life
