Love is like a figure of eight
Twists and turns like a garden gate
Smiles that beam like a ray of sunshine
Curious minds thoughts wandering at times

Rearing and eager to move forward in life
Searching for that someone potentially a wife
New beginnings appear when the time is right
Let nature take its course sit back sit tight

Days passing by becoming weeks then months
Huffing and puffing I began to grunt
The realisation set in I had to get a grip
Finding that special one before life starts to slip

Back on my feet to tackle life head on
Whistling away knowing what must be done
