New Year

New Year

Another year has gone by another year has been,

Whether you stuck to your resolutions may still remain to be seen.

But take a look around, take a moment just to pause.

You made it, you survived give yourself a round of applause.

As another year approaches brace yourself as here we go,

It's another year of life be it fast or be it slow,

We are not getting any younger, we are always growing old,

Take your foot off the brake and be a little bold!

You can't find courage unless you've been afraid,

And even in the brightest of days you will find a little shade.

Take the opportunities and follow that dream,

Some days will make you happy while others will make you scream.

Life would be so dull if we didn't take a chance,

You can either shelter from the storm or you can get out there and dance.
