Newlywed

Art by Yanula Chevalier

Newlywed

Woke up this morning , with my hair entangled
yet not so entangled as my love is for you
Moments can linger , as your lips touch mine
Give me a moment in your embrace, it is so right.Β

I love your scent, your heat, just how, my life untangled
Was lost, afraid, alone and gave up. Was without you
I can not believe how my luck, made you mine, I shine.
You took me, and told me, that everything is alright

I am driven with desire,as my fright you dismantled
To find myself in bed ,lost in your eyes, its true
Life is our altar and bed is our shrine, your mine.
We are here for each other together through life, I am alive.

Wow .. now this is what we around here call a love poem .. and from it, it is clear that there is one hell of a lucky significant other out there somewhere ..
Oh' and I also like very much, how you have incorporated and very tastefully, just a touch of erotica .. write on my fine literary friend ..
