NICO`S FOOTPRINTS
He is still close to us
Every place we go.
His whisper is in the summer breeze
We look for his footprints in the snow.
The smile on his face in his photograph
Brings us sunshine without fail.
But our tears they are mingled within the rain
If only we could touch him
And hug him once again.
Our lovely soulmate and our best friend
We want the world to know
Even though he`s gone
Our love for him has no end.
In our heart he will always be remembered
Every day we whisper his name.
We loved him in the 13 years we had him
Even though he`s gone
That will never change.
