Night

Night

The night casted its eye on me,
The blood rushed to my veins,
I took my pen and,
The magic was bestowed on me!
The scribblings, the rewrittings,
The words, the rhythms,
It all made sense finally!

The night creeped into my soul,
took me to places i have long forgotten,
The night stripped my soul naked,
took me to places where im lost.
The night showered its magic on me,
On me, the girl who loved
the darkness over the light!

Perhaps the night loved me more than they ever did.
Maybe the night was kinder to me,
more than the day ever was!
With all these faces that fades away,
The night keeps me going.
It makes me dream of a better place,
A place i can call home,
A place where i am not judged,
A place where i am loved with no conditions,
A place where love is effortless and less hurtful,
A place where i am myself,
A place far away!
