The mirror

The mirror

I looked at me in the mirror,
The wounds have healed,
Memories crossed my mind.
I looked at me again,
I could see you behind me smiling,
I looked closer in disbelief,
But you were not found.
I looked around everywhere,
Only to realize you were gone,
And my wounds are bleeding once again!
