the night
I awaken from the night
a ghost unchained
free from the horrors
of the underworld
I awaken from the night
a laughing clown
one step away
from falling down
I awaken from the night
a crying child
tears are falling
faith gone wild
I awaken from the night
time and time again
night terrors come alive
I wake up in them

Clever write replacing the sub-conscious, in the light of the conscious wake and the conscious, in the place of sub-conscious night terrors..Some times our dreams can be more acceptable, (with the regrets of having to wake), then reality itself, tends to lend us fully awake.......Jim
