The Night Walk

The Night Walk
The walk has taken a change
I now look at the stars above
millions of earths away from me,
as you are.
Wild my dog.
Is old and tired
resting from the climb
up the clambering hillside.
Taking your place
his head on my lap.
Eyes faithful and longing
Like I am for your
breath on my face,
your kiss on my lips,
your love in my soul.
I almost feel your fingers
loosening my hair.
My body awaiting yours.
Sat below the hemlock trees
we search the sky for you.
Wondering if you see us also.
How long will we be away from you?
Will it be forever?
I rub Wilds old head
he looks in my face
panting a smile
like he knows
what I do not.

There is such beauty in sorrow, which you have conveyed for eyes to see,
"Sat below the hemlock trees
we search the sky for you.
Wondering if you see us also.
How long will we be away from you"
loosing love, aches like no other, the longing inside often blinds us from reality, when you start to heal and make piece within your heart, the night sky's brighten beauty is found, your heart aches in a different form, a brand new hope to see them again, a death leaves behind so many unanswered questions, much love to you, nardine Sanderson xx
What imagery Jude, got a mystical feeling from this write... I know that doesn't make sense... Sometimes emotions better describe poems than words themselves... Let's just say I know exactly where you were going with this one.
