NO FOOD IN THE HOUSE

I open my fridge door and nothing is there 
Opening my cupboards they are empty and bare 
No food in the house it just isn't fair 
I'm hungry and this is too much to bear 

A thought then occurred to me as I went to the shop 
If I went to a restaurant my hunger would stop 
So off I went and ordered vegetables and a chop 
For a drink I had a raspberry soda pop  

My hunger pains restored was hungry no more 
I smiled to myself as I entered my door  
Then it occurred to me I still had no food in store 
Back where I started from for this I'm sure
