No Gain without Pain

I recounted my misfortunes
and tribulations; everyone got gloomy!
I recounted my fortunes
and success; everyone clapped in joy.
Thence, I only recounted my succes
to people , but I  always recounted 
the sufferings  to myself
that I may not forget myself!
People by default wish to be happy, 
but, harsher the experience,  
sweeter is the result!
"No gain without pain!"
