No Hard Pressed god

Was not
chiseled from stone
made a metal,
save for brains
to know what it feels
on the inside.
A jaw of justice
serious tongue to pair,
body heavenly structured
never undergoing repair;
Moves as depended
warrants destiny or time
so desire the opposite obsessiveΒ
carrying out missionsΒ
to soften
then suck dry,
although this being might fight
through temption
along with their trances of the eye.
No. I amΒ
not one of those hard pressed gods,
but I always wondered
what it felt like,
To Be One?

WOW!! SIR La Porte!!.......this is impressive for a number of reasons.....but for me......the chiseled word choices are stellar.....creating short phrases that flow so well and incorporate, and pull, from so many different schools of thought......for instance......when you say "I Am" ~ the next line is "..not one of those hard pressed Gods".....which I found interesting because "I Am".....in the Bible, means you ARE!! (VERY cool)......and you also rid the entire piece of any unnecessary "passing words or phrases"......like......and, but, is, etc.Β Β creating an almost staccato sound for the ear.......but a flowing piece of unique creativity for the soul!!......beautiful conception......and a gorgeous sculpture......PINNED!!......smokin' grooves brother poet!!......ttyl......LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xoΒ Β ?β³β΄β
Thanks very much for such an awesome comment T. I have always been so eager to tell the reader what my poem is really about or what the inspiration is behind it, and now I steadily rely on their interpretation. I really get a different perspective of where others minds are even though they are not my intentions it is still interesting and d ok so enjoy listening to em all. Glad you liked it, like I said to Cherie I was unsure wether or not to post this one because of my true envious meaning behind the words. Love you big bro. Peace!
