Poem -

No Light.

I missed the light.
Darkness my soul still sorely bites.
Everyday as dark as night.
With goodness my dark soul fights.
I’ve got those honky tonk blues.
All i hear is bad news.
I am at the lowest ebb.
Trapped in a black widows spiderweb.
I missed the light.
I did not see that heavenly sight.
Time will tell my dark future.
If i will always be an unholy creature.

Great stuff Bill! Days are shorter and its always a struggle to get out of bed, but not when you are a parent!! No choice there lol. Luckily alot of us working from home so travelling in the dark is less is none. Really good write and relevant for the winter months. Px
