Poem -

No Means No

Don’t touch what doesn’t belong to you
I can’t believe it doesn’t seem wrong to you
I’m screaming, breaking away
In your mind, you say it’s okay

Can’t you see that I’m not happy
You’re leaving your marks right on me
I’m crying and pushing you away
But you continue to look at my face

And do the things that make me unhappy
If you love me, why would you hurt me?
If you love something, let it go
Don’t continue to take blows

Despite all my injuries
You will never hurt me
I cannot stay but if you stay
I will make you go away

If I say no,
Let me go
ā€˜Cause I know
That this is reprehensible
And I don’t care if you don’t know
I said so
Just let me go
